2008 and 2009 Alumni of the International Healing Musician's Program formed an informal association called the Lifelong Learning Therapeutic Musician Group. Aprille Isham wrote an article describing the advantages of belonging to a group of musical friends who are all therapeutic musicians which was published in the Fall 2013 issue of The Harp Therapy Journal.
Our meetings are Skype conference calls. We meet once a month for approximately 90 minutes. Our members are located from Australia to the eastern US and Canada. Sessions often include a discussion of a predetermined topic and frequently playing music for each other.
We use these pages to share music and other information that might be useful in our work and interests as therapeutic musicians.
Please email Alice Freeman if you are interested in more information about Lifelong Learning Therapeutic Musician Groups.
